Refund policy

Effective November 1, 2026

Refunds for unused pages within 14 days

You can see what we find on your statement before you pay, so you know what you're buying. If you change your mind, email support@bankstatementcategorizer.com within 14 days of a purchase:

  • Page packs: we refund the pages you haven't used. A pack you haven't used at all is refunded in full.
  • Subscriptions: the first payment is refunded in full if you've used no more than 10% of that month's pages (50 on Pro, 200 on Business), and the subscription ends.

Pages you have already used to convert statements aren't refundable, except where the law requires it.

Automatic refunds

  • If a statement can't be read (damaged file, not a statement, or an error on our side), its pages are returned to your balance automatically.
  • Pages without transactions (cover pages, legal small print) are not charged.
  • If a statement doesn't balance, its pages are returned automatically (up to 30 pages per month).

Subscriptions

You can cancel any time in one click from Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for and won't be charged again. Renewals after the first payment aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Paddle, our payment provider, usually within 5–10 business days. Refunded pages are removed from your balance. If a payment is disputed with the card issuer after its pages were used, the account is paused until the dispute is resolved.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection law in your country.
